Once again IPL aims to enhance one of the most important aspects of the whole food industry and, above all, safeguard the health of the end consumer.
For this reason, the company has extended the European food contact certification EU 10/2011 to the whole VULCANO® range made with ether based TPU , a series of products commonly used in the food industry and already certified for the passage of food substances, according to FDA Reg. CFR 21 – Item 177.2600.
IPL had already started the European food certification process with VULCANO® 04 ET (cod. VE), the lightest and most flexible hose in the range, with a constant wall thickness of 0.4 mm.
Thanks to this important approval, also the medium-heavy duty hoses, such as VULCANO® 09 ET, VULCANO® 12 ET and VULCANO® 15 ET have fully achieved the double company purpose of guaranteeing high product quality and safety of use, especially in a sector where purity, neutrality and hygienic rigour are essential.
They are suitable for the passage of dry and humid foodstuffs, milk and dairy products, vegetable oils and fats, in accordance with classes A, B, C, D1, D2, E, established by the European Regulations.
The hoses included in the VULCANO® ET range are also made from a special TPU with combined properties that make the wall material PERMANENT ANTISTATIC (R<109 Ohm/m).
A good resistance to hydrolysis, microbial attack and UV rays has always been a distinctive feature of the series dedicated to the food industry, at every stage of processing and at every level of food suction (light, medium, heavy).
